First Baptist Church was established on April 27, 1890 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma by a small group of 14 men and women. Over the years, the church has grown, built buildings, and changed locations. Throughout its rich history, First Baptist has strived to faithful to the Bible, faithful in loving one another, and faithful in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world.
First Baptist Church is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, and the Arbuckle Baptist Association.
